I would like to tell you how blessed I am to be serving the students, parents and teachers of your school.  Riverbend is a community school that is made up of a large number of students that have been left behind in the educational process for a variety of reasons. The one thing that is constant is; all students can learn. We expect all of our students to be successful in perform well in all of their academic endeavors.  The school and I are very fortunate to serve this population.  We have a great opportunity to grow your child to perform on grade level and above.  We are also fortunate to be able to make a great impact on our student’s lives and help ensure their success.

We have programs in place to address all the learning needs of your child and our teachers are required to continue their professional development beyond what the other schools require of their teachers.  We have added support from district and state level teams and companies. Our school has performed at the level of A school grade as it pertains to student growth.  In essence, we grow virtually all of our students. We will focus on the Four Key Resources: Grade Appropriate Assignments, High Expectations for all students to achieve, Strong Academic Instruction, and Deep Engagement in what they are learning.

So with great anticipation of future academic gains for our students, I welcome any and all stakeholders to come and be a part of our Riverbend Gator Family.
